He and his staff are professional and well educated. He uses the latest techniques and methods. I was very impressed. He explained the procedure thoroughly, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I showed concern about the pain. He assured me I would be taken care of. I felt very prepared having all my medications before my surgery. I felt confident in Dr. Fernau and was excited about the surgery. My recovery was fast and easy. I am very very happy with the results. They are exactly what I wanted. I know have the confidence and the breasts to go with my body. I would go to Dr. Fernau for all my esthetic needs. He is a very competent surgeon. I have already referred him to friends and family.

The medical issues that I had developed, three years ago, from a renowned hospital in Cleveland, had been taken care of by Dr. Fernau as well. He gave me my life back!
So, from a reconstructive and cosmetic standpoint, I was extremely pleased with everything and would recommend Dr. Fernau for any surgery without any hesitation! Pre-surgical, operative, and post operative surgical care and support was always there. Results….outstanding

My situation was a little different compared to others. I was in need of a complex rhinoplasty. I consulted with several other physicians prior to meeting Dr. Fernau. When he entered the exam room he evaluated my situation and knew exactly what he needed to do to correct my problem. He exuded knowledge and confidence which in turn made me feel comfortable with him. Needless to say my surgery was extensive as I knew it would be and the results are excellent! Dr.James Feranu has been my plastic surgeon since 2004. His knowledge and desire to continue to learn about new techniques is why I picked him to perform my particular procedudes. I am so completely satisfied with my end results. His staff was so pleasant and helpful. His surgical ability was outstanding. The one particular thing I like the best was that he followed me post-op and I always saw him on every follow-up visit. I have recommended him to many of my friends. I was referred to Dr. Fernau by another plastic surgeon in 2009 to reduce the appearance of acne scars and a chickenpox scar. Since then I have had three procedures performed by Dr. Fernau, including the CO2 laser, and the results have been incredible. I actually have my first fraxel laser treatment today with Cindy Scozio, the Aesthetician at Dr. Fernau’s office. She is extremely talented and very personable. I highly recommend her microdermabrasion. After just two microderms from Cindy and using the Acne Kit by Dr. Fernau my skin is finally acne free.

Dr. fernau is the greatest! My dog bit me and took my lip almost the whole way off. I thought I would never look the same again. I went through 2 surgeries and he took a skin graph from behind my ear and placed it above my lip and fixed my face. I am undergoing laser treatments to get rid of the small scar on my face. It already looks like it never happened. It is truly amazing what this man can do, things I never thought were possible. Also, his staff is great. They are very friendly, fast and to the point. I have never had a better experience with a doctor and his staff in my life and I highly recommend Dr. Fernau for any of your needs in his field!

I went to Dr. Fernau for Basal Cell skin cancer removal off my ear. He had to do 3 surgeries which involved the removal, reconstruction and a skin graft. I was very nervous but it’s been 6 weeks and my ear and other spots look great! He and his staff made me feel very comfortable about the procedures I was having, so much that I had breast surgery 4 years ago (with another Dr.) and one implant has been leaking I am currently scheduling surgery with Dr. Fernau to replace and fix my problem. I would recommend him to anyone! My gilfriend is coming from Seattle to have her chest fixed by him!

After living many hard man-years, my face was left showing large cratering pores and deep scars. I have had multiple treatments, including microdermabrasion and facials, all performed by licensed aesthetician and certified laser technician, Cindy Scozio. When somebody decides to spend the money and put one’s trust in the hands of a person who will hopefully make an improvement in one’s appearance, and thus in one’s self confidence, the best thing to hear is that the practitioner, herself, has undergone these same procedures. I felt immediately comfortable when I first met Cindy at Dr. Fernau’s office. She is eager to answer any and all questions, and give details of her personal experience with the procedures. She never promised what she could not deliver (perfection where there were acne scars) but did promise significant improvement, which did actually result! She is skilled and knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I am never pressured to purchase more than I want, but I am provided with information about up-coming specials and packages routinely offered by the office. This has allowed me to keep my skin looking better than ever, and to keep people thinking I’m at least 10 years younger than my actual age! There is no substitute for experience in the field of aesthetic procedures. Looking to have body enhancement, I found Dr. Fernau and set up my consult. What impressed me most is the fact he contacted me prior to my initial consult. After meeting with him to discuss my options and the actual procedure, he and his staff made me feel very comfortable. His staff are very professional and made me feel comfortable as they have had procedures done themselves and made me feel at ease with my decision and informed me of what to expect during my recovery process. After having my augmentation, Dr. Fernau made sure I was absolutely perfect. He had me utilize a surgical bra and topifoam to assist in the healing process. It is six weeks later and I absolutely love my results and couldn’t be more pleased. He is also lasering my scars until they are completely gone for FREE!!
